FAQ

1. Do you make these cakes?

-Nope! You’ll see a “via ____” under each cake that will take you to the person who made the cake (unless the source is unknown).  You can also click on the picture and it’ll take you to the baker’s website/flickr. 

2. Where can I submit a cake?

-Here! If you want credit for something you made, make sure you post a link back to your tumblr!  I occasionally will forget to copy the name of the submitter and then you won’t receive credit.

3. Can I submit something I didn’t make?

-Yes but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE include a source if possible.  Also, like before, if you’d like to be credited as submitting the cake, make sure you include a link to your tumblr.

4. Why hasn’t my submission been posted yet?

-One of three reasons, my queue has at least 100 cakes on there and you haven’t given it enough time to show up, the cake has already been posted, or the cake is not up to par with Disney Cake standards.

5. What standards do you require for submissions?

-First and foremost, good photography is a must (proper lighting, fairly close up, a decent size image, simple background, etc.).  The cake should be the main focus of the image.  Even if the cake is beautiful, it’s hard to appreciate it if the quality of the photo is bad.

Secondly, the main focus of the cake (which should be, for the most part, the characters) should NOT be plastic or any sort of printed image.  Occasionally these cakes will be posted but only when they are like this and the rest of the cake is creatively done.  Additionally, unless the quality is VERY good, I won’t typically post sheet cakes.  

Ultimately, I will use my discretion when posting.

6. Why didn’t you credit my submission?

-Either you didn’t write it in the submission or I already had the cake posted in the queue before you sent it to me.  Unless you made it, don’t automatically expect it to be credited to you.

7.Why didn’t you post my ask?

-Unless it’s REALLY relevant and not in the FAQ I won’t post it.  I’ll never post an ask that is simply complimenting the tumblr.  I will also not answer any asks about me.  Curious about me personally?  Ask me on my personal account.

8. Can I be a moderator?

-Currently, no but keep up with the blog; I may need help someday!

9. What theme do you use?

-This but with a lot of different tweaks.  All of her themes are cute though!
